Evening primrose oil exhibits soothing and moisturizing properties and is gentle enough for use on sensitive or prematurely ageing skin. It is reputed to moisturize, enhance elasticity and improve the texture of flaking or peeling skin. This makes it an ideal ingredient in formulations for mature skin. With astringent and softening properties, evening primrose promotes the look of a healthy, clear and rejuvenated complexion with enhanced radiance. By addressing roughness, wrinkles, redness, dryness, and irritation, it is reputed to soothe skin afflicted with acne, eczema and psoriasis. When used in the hair, evening primrose oil is known to hydrate and nourish the scalp. It may fortify strands, soothe itchiness, dryness, and inflammation and reduce hair loss.

Common uses | Evening primrose oil is known to be nourishing/moisturizing to the skin and hair. It may revitalize the skin and improve its look and texture while reducing signs of ageing. It may also be reconstructing to damaged cells, helpful for PMS tension and aid in addressing eczema, psoriasis, dry scaly skin, dandruff conditions, hair growth and wound healing. It is known to be therapeutic to circulatory and digestive systems and the neuroendocrine complex. Evening primrose oil is an emollient and may be anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cleansing, nourishing and astringent. |

Shelf Life & Storage: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions. It is recommended that cold pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using. Keep oxygen out of the bottle and rebottle into smaller sizes as oil is used.
